On September 2 2025, a Coquitlam mother sent an urgent letter to Premier David Eby, MLA Rick Glumac, and Minister Jodie Wickens. She pleaded for help after her six year old son with many complexities, Bennett, was taken from hospital care despite clear professional warnings.
